Andy Robinson

I have over 20 years’ experience as a fitness professional working for some of the largest health clubs around the country. I use my knowledge and experience to deliver high quality personal training sessions and classes here at the club and specialise in weight loss and conditioning through HIIT sessions. I have also picked up a wealth of knowledge from playing professional ice hockey and know what it takes to succeed as a top sportsperson. When I retired from playing, I carried on as the team’s sports therapist, helping with injuries and recovery through sports massage and kinesiology taping.

Two rules to live by:

  1. Exercise to live life, don’t live life to exercise, life is too short to let it pass us by
  2. You have always got 10% more to give

Top Five Training Tracks:

  1. ‘Sandstorm’ – Darude
  2. ‘Put Your Hands Up for Detroit’- Fedde Le Grand
  3. ‘Now We Are Free’- Dreamgate
  4. ‘The Logical Song’- Scooter
  5. ‘Adagio for Strings’- Tiesto

Ice hockey (obviously), I have just got into road cycling and love getting out on my bike, I love to cook but especially love a real coal BBQ… 'no gas here’

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
Non-members can book our spa treatments online, and please call 01983 766222 to book classes or activities.
