Does the thought of sitting on a stationary bike and sweating in a room baffle you? What enjoyment could you possibly get out of that? Perhaps you view group cycle classes as a workout session that is just too hard for you and you aren't sure where to start, or if it's for you. You may be worried that this isn’t something that you can actually do. Our new Group Cycle classes are for everyone and here's why....

A cardio workout unlike any other

A cardio class with adventure and excitement!  A shared experience with connectivity, engagement and motivation. With the lights low, pedal to the sound of high energy music and inspirational videos in a crescendo of rhythm and emotion where you will be swept away in an immersive experience where the world outside will cease to exist and it'll just be you, your bike, and your goals until you reach the fi­nish line. Fast-track your fitness

Group Cycle is a great class to get motivated and get the endorphins flowing. Plus, you can burn anywhere from 600-plus calories depending on your intensity and how long you’re in the saddle. That’s almost double the amount burned in most other exercise classes. It’s not all about the calories either. The workouts encourage the body to burn away fat. You’ll find yourself fitter and more toned within weeks of trying out your first class.

Low impact

Group Cycle is one of the best low impact exercises you could ever try. If you’re recovering from injury or you’re worried about stress fractures, you want to look for something that doesn’t involve the constant pounding into the gravel or the floor. Running and dance workouts both involve some type of impact on your legs. With group cycle, your ankles and your knees will thank you. It’s a great way to get the cardio in with the least impact on your joints since it keeps the pressure off of your knees and feet.

Your effort, your limits, your ride

Just because the instructor seems to go a million miles per hour doesn’t mean that you have to keep up. The smart technology means that your ride is personalised to you – ride within your limits at your own pace and resistance (matched to your personal training zones),  without worrying what anyone else is doing. Nobody will know what resistance you’ve set your bike to – and quite honestly, nobody will care. This is about your personal workout and your abilities.

No need to remember Choreography

There are no dance steps to learn. You just pedal your legs as fast as you can and push up the resistance when instructed. It really is that easy mentally. You don’t need grace, poise, or balance. For all the people out there who are self-conscious about dancing or a lack rhythm, you don’t need any of this for group cycle - just pedal - you’re not on display for the finesse of your movements.

It’s addictive

If you want a workout that you feel excited about before each class, then Group Cycle classes are for you. This is one of those workouts that soon becomes addictive, and there are multiple reasons for that. It’s mostly about the energy. You get to have some fun while you burn a lot of calories. You can focus on getting fit and pushing yourself to the max, without getting bored by the lack of variety. On top of that, you leave the class really energised for the rest of the day. You just can’t wait to get those euphoric feelings again. You could find you’re going to three or four classes a week because it’s so addictive!

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.


A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.


A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.


At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.
