The Isle of Wight Sweetcorn Fayre

There’s something for everyone at this fun annual celebration of the sweetcorn harvest at Arreton Barns on the 24th and 25th September 2016. Enjoy live music, a real ale festival and delicious food, including BBQ sweetcorn, sweetcorn chowder, sweetcorn fritters and Farmer Jack’s sausages. And if you’re looking for a day out with the family, kids will love the ‘Maize Maze’, tractor rides, and sweetcorn eating competition. They can even pop their own popcorn!

The Garlic Farm

The Garlic Farm is a firm Island favourite. Visit the farm shop and restaurant to discover a huge array of garlic inspired products and hearty dishes (we love the mezze board), learn about the history of the farm in the Heritage Centre, or take a tour in a tractor trailer. Briddlesford Farm Shop

Based on a working dairy farm, this family run farm shop is one of the best places to find Island produce, with over 50 local suppliers. You’ll find seasonal fruits and vegetables, Garlic Farm garlic and chutneys, Oil of Wight olive oil, The Tomato Stall ketchup, and of course the farm’s own range of Buttercup milk and cream. Bluebell’s, the farm café is next door and serves homemade food using produce from the best Island farms.

Goddards Beer

Goddards is the oldest working brewery on the Isle of Wight and you can sample their imaginatively named beer at many Island pubs and restaurants. Why not try an Ale of Wight or Fuggle-Dee-Dum at the New Inn in Shalfleet, just 10 minutes drive from The West Bay Club. You’ll find local bread, cheese, tomatoes and more available to buy in the Clubhouse Deli – keep an eye out for our new autumn menu of fresh deli salads and daily specials using the best local ingredients the Isle of Wight has to offer.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
