Class bookings & cancellations

Based on feedback from our members, we have introduced a new class booking process and new group fitness class cancellation policy. These have been introduced to combat bulk booking and non-arrivals in order to help ensure that as many members as possible can enjoy our classes and that spaces do not go to waste. Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with the new policies detailed below... Class bookings Each person can only book a maximum of 2 spaces per class, meaning you will only be allowed to book in yourself plus one other member into a class. This is to combat bulk booking and non-arrivals. To avoid disappointment we are now only going to accept face-to-face and telephone bookings not email bookings, as our emails are not necessarily read straight away at the time of sending, which means you may miss out on a space for your class. Class cancellation policy In response to customer feedback we are implementing a cancellation policy for group fitness classes. Customers have told us that even when classes are fully booked, spaces are available due to some members booking but not attending the class or cancelling just before the class is due to start, not enabling us time to fill the space from our reserve list. By introducing a penalty for ‘no shows’ we hope that more class spaces will be available to those who want to attend. If you have booked, but do not attend a class and do not provide the required notice (see below) you will lose the right to book for the following week. Notice periods:
  • There must be a minimum of 3 hours notice given to cancel your place on all group fitness classes.
  • Cancellations must be made at the Country Club reception in person or by calling 766222 not by email.
  • You must ensure you confirm your attendance for each class by checking in at reception, giving your name and detailing which class you are attending, or by swiping in using your membership card.
  • Members will continue to receive 7 days priority booking to ensure a fair booking process.
  • Repeat offenders (2 weeks in a row) that cancel on the day of a class but within the cancellation policy will be restricted from booking for the following week.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
Non-members can book our spa treatments online, and please call 01983 766222 to book classes or activities.
