NEW autumn sailing weekends at The West Bay Club

We are delighted to introduce our new sailing weekends! We have partnered with the United Kingdom Sailing Academy (UKSA) team to offer West Bay guests a very special keelboating weekend experience with us. Our keelboating weekend is designed for everyone, for the beginner who wants to learn the basics, to the more experienced sailor who may want to advance their skills, or of course you may just want to get out on the water and relax while the crew take you out for the day around the beautiful shores of Isle of Wight. Keelboating is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy together, but if your kids are aged 12 and over they can go out sailing unaccompanied by parents, leaving you time to relax at the Country Club safe in the knowledge that your children are in expert hands. Please note, the minimum age for children is 7 years old. Based in Cowes, the heart of the yachting world, UKSA is one of the world's premier maritime training providers - with an outstanding fleet, purpose-built facilities, inspirational tutors and unrivalled industry guidance. Each day includes pick up and drop off from The West Bay Club, a packed lunch and a full day of sailing and tuition if you want to learn. The UKSA team will equip you with everything you need. If you are keen to learn to sail, advance your skills or just get out on the water and have fun this autumn, then our keelboating weekend offers a fantastic experience for everyone. Our 3 night keelboating breaks are available for weekends arriving on Friday 27th September, Friday 11th October or Friday 8th November. Prices start from £62.66 per person per night. All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
