With over 200 miles of cycle trails and paths, cycling is the perfect way for you and your children to take in the Isle of Wight’s idyllic beauty. From relaxing beachside rides through to challenging forest tracks, the Island’s varied scenery is what makes it such a fantastic location for cyclists to explore and enjoy. At West Bay, our team of qualified trail leaders have mapped out some recommended cycling routes to make sure you get the most out of your cycling experience. There are options for all levels of ability, so whether you’re a budding Chris Froome, or just itching to get in the saddle and explore, there really is something for everyone. Aside from being a fantastic way to see the island, cycling is a low-impact and healthy way for people of all ages to exercise. It boosts fitness, torches fat and tones your muscles, leading to a strong, flexible physique. Most importantly, cycling is great fun for your whole family. Coasting through the Island’s narrow lanes or blasting along its clifftop paths will give you a real natural buzz. All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.


A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.


A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.


At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.
