This week we put the spotlight on introducing four fantastic new classes to our timetable.  We hope that you are as excited about them as we are and look forward to welcoming you into one of our new sessions soon... H.I.I.T PAD WORK  - Tuesday   8.00 - 8.30 This class is ideal for those wanting a fun, high-intensity workout. Using boxing gloves and pads, we work through various boxing moves putting them into different combinations. It tones the arms, provides a great cardio workout and also works the brain at the same time. BOXERCISE - Wednesday 18.00 - 18.45 and Sunday 9.00 - 9.45 Boxercise is a high-intensity exercise class that combines resistance training with aerobic exercise. Boxercise is non-contact; the emphasis is on knocking your body into shape, not knocking anyone out. It’s an all over body workout which creates results….fast. CORE STRENGTHENING - Wednesday 19.00 - 19.45 Core-strength exercises strengthen your core muscles, including your abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Having strong core muscles makes it easier to do many everyday physical activities. This is a general ability class with movements that can adapt to individual ability. LATINOCISE - Thursday  12.00 - 13.00 A dance aerobics class with a Latin flavour - it’s time to shake, shimmy and smile! Who knew getting fit could be so much fun? Plus, don't forget our recently added classes.. FOAM ROLLER STRETCH - Friday 18.00 - 18.45 Classes focused on mobility and recovery, a new category in fitness, are on the rise.  This suggests that more and more people are striving to find not only work-life balance, but also workout balance. Our foam roller stretch class has been specifically designed to improve flexibility, reduce muscular stiffness, speed up recovery, alleviate pain and prevent musculoskeletal injuries. BODY WEIGHT CIRCUITS - Monday 7.15 - 7.55 Give your week a real kick-start with this 40 minute strength and cardio circuit which will challenge your entire body.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.
