Ride the Waves this Summer with iSurf

iSurf The Island’s only mobile surf school offers a unique opportunity to catch the waves wherever they may be! Whether it is your first time on a board, or you’re looking to develop your existing skills, iSurf will help you learn quickly and progress to the next level. Whilst beginners can learn the basic skills, working towards getting up on a board in no time, experienced surfers will enjoy a lesson tailored to their own personal requirements. Whatever your ability, the talented iSurf team will maximise your time in the water - you’ll be hooked. iSurf can film or photograph your lesson, making a great souvenir of your break. It will also allow you to watch and see yourself in action, which is an excellent tool for your progression. Our surfing experiences cost £30 per person, and include:
  • Transport to and from the beach (departing from West Bay Reception)
  • A 90 minute surfing lesson
  • All of the equipment you’ll need for your lesson, including wet suits and surf boards
  • Warm towels to dry off with after your session
Whether you’ve booked to stay at The West Bay Country Club & Spa yet or not, our surfing breaks are available for everyone. Allowances can be made for children aged 6 and 7 years old with parental supervision. Kids aged 8 and over can go surfing unaccompanied by parents. Please note: all availability listed includes a 9.15am pick-up from The West Bay Country Club & Spa unless stated otherwise.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
