UKSA - Keelboating

Enjoy an exciting keelboating weekend experience with UKSA!

Based in Cowes, the heart of the yachting world, with their outstanding fleet, purpose-built facilities, inspirational tutors and unrivalled industry guidance, UKSA is one of the world's premier maritime training providers. Keelboating is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy together, and if your kids are aged 12 and over they can go out sailing unaccompanied by parents, leaving you time to relax in our Country Club, safe in the knowledge that your children are in expert hands. Our keelboating weekends are designed for everyone, from the beginner who wants to learn the basics, to the more experienced sailor who may want to advance their skills. You may of course just want to get out on the water and relax while the crew take you out for the day around the scenic shores of the Isle of Wight. Our Keelboating days include:
  • A full day of sailing, plus tuition if you would like to learn
  • A delicious, healthy packed lunch
  • All of the sailing equipment you will need provided by UKSA
  • Transfer to and from UKSA in Cowes
Availability:
  • 17th & 18th May
  • 7th & 8th June
One and two day keelboating experiences are available at £60 per person per day or £120 per person for both Saturday and Sunday. Please note that the minimum age for children is 7 years old.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
