Spotlight on: The Garlic Farm's summer production

The Garlic Farm is one of the Island's most popular attractions; you can learn about how to grow and cook with garlic, take a tour of the farm, and sample a range of garlic-themed delicacies. There's so much more to the Garlic Farm than its core offering, though - each year, it also puts on an opera production! This summer's production features two pieces by Mozart with a romantic theme, making it an ideal option for a novel evening out. The two pieces are titled 'Bastien & Bastienne' and 'The Impresario'; they are both amusing one-act comedies in which a pair of lovers tease and test their feelings for each other, and a pair of actresses battle it out to be the prima donna. Running on the 8th and 9th of June, tickets cost £45. Viewers should arrive at 19:00 and will be served a welcome drink on arrival, as well as a light supper during the intermission. The show will wind down at 23:00. Learn more, or buy tickets to this year's opera production.
