garlicIMG_6366With long hours of sunshine, rich and fertile soils and its southerly location, the Isle of Wight is a foodie paradise! Around our shores you will find foraged, seasonal and home-made delicacies, crab shacks, farm shops and roadside produce stands – all providing food fresh from our soil and seas. The Garlic Farm

The Garlic Farm is a firm Island favourite. Visit the farm shop and restaurant to discover a huge array of garlic inspired products and hearty dishes (we love the mezze board), learn about the history of the farm in the Heritage Centre, or take a tour in a tractor trailer.

Cow Co. at Tapnell Farm

The Cow. Co. serves a delicious beef and dairy inspired menu in a rustic converted barn at Tapnell Farm. Here you’ll find delicious, locally sourced food served up with some of the best view on the Island. Plus, kids will enjoy the fun and excitement of the play barn with a three-storey soft play area, kids climbing wall, giant chalkboards and chalkboard cows. Or they can run wild in the Straw Bale Adventure Barn, which houses the longest indoor zipline on the Isle of Wight!

Off The Rails

In the historic village of Yarmouth is Off the Rails, a popular bistro housed in the former Yarmouth Train Station serving a fresh array of traditional favourites with a modern twist. With quirky railway memorabilia for a touch of fun, it’s a lively venue for relaxed dining. Ideal for either couples or families and situated just off the cycle path, it’s the perfect stop on a day out.
