The changing of the seasons can cause havoc with our complexions, but most of us just put up with the sudden dry skin, persistent outbreaks and general lacklustre complexion. Here's our top tips for skin survival during the change of seasons.Get ahead and act now for a happy face...

Hydration boost

During the colder months the humidity decreases and our use of central heating increases – both serve to dry out skin.  Before bed, gently cleanse your skin without stripping it and drying it further with harsh chemicals and then apply a rich night moisturising repair cream. Look for creams full of antioxidants, as nighttime is the best time to repair the skin. As skin can become a little dryer as the temperature cools, and central heating is turned on, after cleansing at night try adding a few drops of a rich nourishing oil to your night cream for an extra boost. The benefit of using an oil is that you can simply add a few drops into the palm of your hand and mix it with your moisturiser as needed. Tackle outbreaks Breakouts can actually increase during the autumn season. The increase in oil that takes place in the skin during the summer months is still occurring, yet the cooler air is creating layers of dead skin cell buildup. This traps oil and bacteria beneath the surface of the skin, which leads to an increase in breakout activity.  Add a cleansing mask into your skincare routine to keep breakouts at bay. Balance and calm skin while drawing out impurities with a concentrated botanical mask containing green clay and manuka honey. All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.
