Walk With Purpose

Find your way Group walks with a personal coach Walking gives a sense of wellbeing. It helps you think more deeply in a relaxed way. With the challenge and support of a trained coach/walk leader, you take steps to identify your goals and tackle the challenges that are important to you. A clearer future... Do you want to find your way forward? You need a clear understanding and fresh insight - and you want to enjoy yourself too. Here's how it works.  You join a coaching walk, led by an experienced coach or facilitator. During the walk, we find opportunities for you to reflect on and discuss the things that really matter. Walking helps you to focus and find your way. Walking can have a transformative impact, stimulating deep relaxed thinking. As you walk, you connect deeply with what matters most to you, find new ideas and boost wellbeing. On a group walk, you join up to five other people who share an interest in the same walk topic as you. The walk leader guides the walk, provides activities for you to consider and discuss as you walk and they also facilitate discussion. It’s a social experience when you walk together in a group, but there’s no pressure to talk and you don’t have to share anything about your own situation unless you wish to. It’s up to you what you discuss. Anything you share with the walk leader is kept in confidence. Our monthly Group Walk schedule runs on Friday mornings 10.00 - 11.30am followed by a tea or coffee back at The West Bay Club.

All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
Non-members can book our spa treatments online, and please call 01983 766222 to book classes or activities.
