A Wonderful Week at The West Bay Country Club & Spa

"This year we brought friends over with us for Gaffers weekend, and so we decided to stay at The West Bay Country Club & Spa. We made full use of the classes - pilates, and two kinds of yoga, which were well-run and by professionals. We also got up every morning to use the swimming pool - it has plenty of room for swimming up and down and also run aqua-aerobic classes. The gym was excellent and well-provided. We also booked in the spa for a massage each, and that was a wonderful treat! The cottages are well-kept and very clean. Our house had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a good-sized kitchen and lovely bedrooms. It also had a nice private garden area as we were tucked into a nice corner at the bottom end of the site. I would definitely stay here again as the price not only includes the ferry crossing, but also the use of the gym, all classes, and the swimming pool. Good value! All levels

These classes have been specifically designed to allow participants to work at their own intensity level, with the ability to modify all exercises according to their own personal fitness.

Beginner

A person new to training or an individual with below average fitness levels can be termed as a beginner. These classes are also suitable for those returning to exercise after a break/injury.

Intermediate

A person training at intermediate level should have a fair amount of base fitness and coordination and thus can be exposed to a higher intensity workout.

Advanced

At an advanced level, the participant should have experience in subjecting themselves to high intensity training on a regular basis. Every person starting off as a beginner should aspire to reach this level.

Online booking is available for members for classes, activities and spa treatments.
